This High Pressure Cast Iron Burner is a replacement burner for square Bayou Classic Cooker Frames.This replacement burner fits Bayou Classic gas cooking stoves that have square frames (the BG10 burner fits stoves with round frames). Made of heavy cast iron, the low-pressure burner features two rings of flame that burn at 50,000 BTUs, the ideal strength for deep-frying or cooking smaller portions. A disc on the end held by two screws rotates to modify the amount of air taken into the burner. The circular part of the replacement burner measures 5-1/2 inches in diameter, while the overall length is 11 inches. Assembly instructions are included. –Ann Bieri

Bayou classic burner good for replacement but GREAT for converting an offset smoker to gas! I am sure this would have made a great replacement burner for a fryer but I used mine differently. I had a cheap offset smoker from target. I think it was charbroil. I was not very good at keeping the coals and fire going, and keeping my temperature steady, I had to watch it all of the time, I would oversmoke my food a lot and such.
