Useful for Low Amp Applications, but Not Top Quality The connectors are poorly-designed cheap plastic. Unfortunately, I have found it nearly impossible to find descent cigarette-socket connectors anymore. So, maybe my 3-star rating is a little harsh. Power Station DC Charging Cord I bought a Diehard Power Station that can be charged with AC or DC from your car’s 12-volt outlets (cigarette lighter). To charge using DC from the car you need a male-to-male 12-volt cord – which of course the unit did not come with. It works. It’s a cable. It works. What else can I say? It has limited and specific uses, most people will never need a cable like this. But when you need it this is a lifesaver.
