Unbelievably great non-stick peformance; unfortunately cannot get answer on exactly what the surface is made of. I would give this grill a 5 star, but the respondent to my query about exactly what the surface is made of would not tell me (other than that it is not PFOA). Which is kind of suspect, and too bad. Because holy cow this thing is the most non-stick surface I have ever grilled a thing on. I mean, there is zero need for oil on this guy, ever. Seriously. Top grill plate falls off Just opened the box and was so anxious to cook dinner BUT it’s unusable because top grill plate continually falls off. Latch will not hold even after trying 43 times!!!! My husband, who is an engineer, thought the magnet in the center of the top lid was a brilliant idea to help keep the top grill in place.
