The Weber cover Weber should have made! I LOVE this cover. It is heavy canvas, has 2 nice brass? logo tags, and 2 handles wrapped in vinyl? There are also good quality quick release buckles at the bottom (although I don’t use them). The large size works great with my 18″ Weber Smokey Mountain (so much better than the crappy vinyl one that comes with the Weber). The large cover with the 18″ WSM allows the cover to easily slide over the smoker & yet, is not too big. It is just baggy enough to provide good airflow…
I bought this cover because I came out and my weber smoky mountain 18″ smoker was filled with mold. I was using the Weber supplied cover. The mold accumulated from the interior seasoning of the smoker. Because the vents sit so low, rain sometimes splashes up and can create a moist environment in the smoker, even though the vents are closed. The supply to Weber cover is crap anyway, none of them ever last more than a year for me. I bought this cover even though I was not thrilled that…
