Extremely poor quality burner base I rarely leave bad reviews, but this product warranted one. I purchased this fryer based on the good ratings it had, the fact that the pot was stainless steel, it came with the basket, and the pot had a drain valve. All of these features made the higher price seem reasonable and with that price, I expected tom notch quality. Buyer Beware — I read every review of this product and thought I’d roll the dice. The 3 welds are absolute garbage. Heck, 1 of em isn’t even really welded ! It’s like they dripped some solder there and called it ‘good enough’. I’ll have to find someone who welds to fix this or come up w/ something. The 30 quart stainless steel pot is really thin – I can see this getting dinged real easy. This whole rig seems overpriced for the quality. Do Not Buy this Product!!! Returning twice due to leaks and cracks in pot. As a someone who rarely writes reviews, I write this only as a warning for others. Do not buy this product! I originally bought this system because I had 2 very large parties coming up, one involving steaming many lobster and deep frying a turkey for a friendsgiving.
