This was an exact replacement for my Masterbuilt 40â Digital Electric Smoker. Before ordering this, check the wires on the back of your smoker. I have found some that were burnt/broken. It will be much easier and cheaper to repair a wire than replace an element. On my current one, The original element fell to pieces when trying to remove it. The install was straight forward and the new element heats great. I ran it at max temp 275*F for 24 hours and then smoked a Christmas turkey and ham for…
