Good budget burner This burner puts out a wide variety of heat. We bought a Bayou regulator and hose to go along with it to hook it to our 20 lb propane tank. The hose comes with a needle valve which is indispensable for this unit. The valve allows you to control the gas more accurately than the tank. Great replacement burner for my smoker

Great burner for an economical brewing system. Excellent quality at a reasonable price. A couple of the holes were not aligned withe the flats on the casting, but no adverse effect on the flame. I am using in my horizontal HER MS brew stand and wanted a bit more heat. A good sharp #25 drill eventually did the trick. I stepped up through a couple sizes, to prevent blowback and keep the ability to idle the heat. Does an excellent job heating 7+ gallons of cold water to brewing temperature.
