Press POWER to turn grill on; 5 minutes will appear on timer display and 300 degrees will appear on temperature display. Not impressed I owned the predecessor of this grill in red, essentially the same product, for almost three years and loved it. The removable plates are a definite PLUS++. The non-stick coating was wearing off and it wouldn’t work on anything lower than a 400 degree setting, so it was time to replace it.I ordered this item because it was almost exactly what I had been using, However, it would never stop flashing when set at 425 degrees.
