Too tight around WSM 18.5″ This cover (Classic Accessories 73002 Veranda Round Smoker Cover, Medium) is very, very tight fitting and a pain to fit over my WSM 18.5″. The original cover that came with it is much faster and easier to get on. This one just barely fits and that is only with tugging for about 5 minutes first on one side, then the other, and back and forth to finally get it to squeeze over the raised ridges between the lid/middle section/bottom section and the handle. Excellent like always It fits perfectly over the 18″ SMSVeranda makes great backyard hardware covers, but a word of advice: they, like all, are still sensitive to high UV solar radiation… protecting the device and it’s cover could mean the difference between 3 year or 30+ years endurance in some places.Fit well enough and high enough to permit water to flow with out touching the cover, when cleaning the floor beneath or rain water flowing thru.I own a Weber Performer (charcoal) and a Summit…
Great looking and truly waterproof This is an excellent cover for the Weber Smoky Mountain smoker – the kind of cover that should have come with the smoker in the first place. The weather was quite cold the first time I put this on, and it was a tight fit. Now that summer weather has arrived it slides on easily and looks great.The most important difference between this and the cover that Weber provided is that this cover is genuinely waterproof.
