Beware of Rust, Lot’s of Rust After following ALL directions regarding “seasoning” these cast iron grill grates, and “burning off” and cleaning them after each cooking session, the results are very disappointing. I purchased the unit in Aug. 2016, and by late Sept. these cast iron grills began to rust, and haven’t stopped since. Hard to assemble Grill works and produces great cooked meat. Totally awesome in that respect, but assembly is a pain. I put the grill together about a month ago–all except the doors, which I could not get on after completion of my assembly. Grill worked great, though. Why could I not get the doors on? I blame it on a poor drawing in figure 1. Figure 1 is also the drawing I looked at the longest trying to figure it out. Step 1 is where you put the bottom plate on–the one the propane tank rest on…
